Menu - Mr Yum

There are few places that encapsulate the Northern Rivers quite like Harvest. Set within the historic Newrybar Village and surrounded by verdant hinterland, this three-in-one community hub takes the best of the region’s produce and showcases the lot across a modern Australian restaurant, deli, bakery and world-class function space.

Since 2007, founders and partners Tristan Grier and Kassia Picone have worked closely with local farmers and sustainable initiatives, and the restaurant celebrates many of those long-standing relationships. Whether it’s a dish of artichoke, anchovy and herb salsa or local lobster drenched in ’nduja butter, usually just a handful of ingredients feature – many of them sourced from Harvest’s own kitchen garden and Picone’s family farm.

Harvest’s deli sits next door to the restaurant inside a beautifully converted Queenslander home, and it’s there you can pick up coffee, freshly made sandwiches, salads, take-home meals and specialty pantry items. Sourdough bread and pastries are supplied by Harvest bakery and its 120-year-old woodfire oven, set within a historic former milk factory.

After a visit to the deli, you can take away your spoils to enjoy at the village green, which doubles as a community space hosting monthly live music, food stalls, gardening, pasta-making classes and more.
